Every dress has its own special tale. I wanted to make dresses that feel just right for each woman, showing how fashion and personal touches come together. It's a unique blend of clothes and stories that make each dress special, turning them into more than just outfits—they're like treasures with personal meanings.
When I founded a fashion label under the name 'saena' and designed my first dress, I held a small hope: I wanted to create a beautiful dress for a single woman. This woman could be me, one of my friends, or an average woman resembling all others. I wished for her to find the perfect model among my dresses, one that suits her uniquely. My hope was for this woman to keep the dress in her wardrobe like a treasure for as long as possible. And when an important moment arrives, a moment where she wants to look just like herself, the thought of this dress would come to her mind. That's precisely why I chose this profession.
For the exhibition planning, I asked my friends to each choose a dress from my past collection that they liked the most. Then, I requested them to send me an object that best represents their own persona. My friends gladly followed my request for this exhibition. Hence, under each dress that individual friends liked the most, I wrote their names and placed their personal items beside them.
